Visitors to food pantries can receive non-perishable pantry staples along with fresh produce, meats, dairy, and other items.

The Mobile Harvest program visits neighborhoods across northern Nevada and eastern California to distribute produce and other fresh food items to clients. All community members in need of food assistance are welcome to visit Mobile Harvest. There are no qualification requirements, and each household may pick up food from a Mobile Harvest distribution once per week.
The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a federal program that provides food commodities at no cost to Americans in need of short-term hunger relief through food providers like emergency food pantries, food banks, soup kitchens and shelters.
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP/formerly food stamps) is an important program for struggling families, seniors, and others. The Food Bank’s SNAP team is available to answer questions and assist with applying for SNAP benefits.

Kids Cafe provides free, nutritious meals to kids when they are out of school. Kids Cafe consists of a Dinner Program, serving after-school meals throughout the school year, and the Summer Meals program, which provides breakfast/snack and lunch during school breaks.
The Food Bank of Northern Nevada Kids Cafe summer meals program offers free breakfast/snack and lunch to children 2-18 years old throughout summer break.
Through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), the Food Bank of Northern Nevada provides a monthly box of nutritious pantry staples to low-income seniors 60 years and over.
Produce on Wheels provides fresh fruits and vegetables to seniors aged 60 and over.
