Winter Funk Buster

If you are a skier, snowboarder, or even snowshoer, you are probably a little more than irritated at how this winter is shaping up so far. Sure, records are being set but they are for the lack of snow, and not the raging snow pack that we like to see.
There are some winter lovers over at Great Basin Brewery in Sparks that have decided it is time to take our hands out of our pockets and act to end the cycle of unseasonable warm and dry weather. We were thrilled that they thought of us when they were putting together their "Winter Funk-Buster" action plan and decided to use it as a way to feed people as well as to lure snow to the area.
We will gather in force on Thursday, January 5 at Great Basin Brewing Company in Sparks at 5 p.m. We will attend the "Pray for Snow Winter Funk-Buster Party" in hopes of changing the barometers of our winter activities. We will watch ski movies and win SWAG provided by the Brewery, Bobo's Ski and Board shop and Mt. Rose Ski Resort. We will donate food to receive raffle tickets and will will get even more chances to win by forking over $5 for 7 additional tickets.
We can't change the weather alone. We need your help. The aggresive voice mail messages to poor Mike Alger are not working. He is just reporting what he knows.
