Hunger is a very serious issue right here in Nevada. One in five children in Nevada live in a home where there is not enough food for three meals per day, and one in six people in Nevada needs to seek food assistance and may tap the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program to keep food on the table for their families. Throughout September, there will be opportunities to get involved.
Individuals who want to help spread the word and share our celebrity video with friends or to view the 30 Ways in 30 Days calendar, please visit the Food Bank of Northern Nevada website at fbnn.org.
