Annually, the Food Bank presents a concert during ARTown to raise money to feed hungry people and reminds everyone that hunger is an issue that is faced all through the year. 

This year, the Food Bank of Northern Nevada is celebrating the summer with Grammy nominated and Contemporary Female Blues Artist of the Year, Ruthie Foster.  The Ruthie Foster Making Hunger History Concert will be held at the Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater at Bartley Ranch on Friday, July 6.  Gates will open at 6 p.m. with show at 7:15 p.m.  Tickets are $20 for general admission seats and $15 for general admission lawn and are on sale now online at http://ruthiefostertix.eventbrite.com, which can also be found at fbnn.org.  Tickets will also be available after Wednesday, May 23 at Recycled Records and Maytan Music.
