Last Wednesday was the exciting beginning of the Silver Lecacy's $70,000 12 days of Christmas. There is definitely a lot going on at the Legacy with tons of giveaways. They are giving away Cruises, money, prizes, free play and more. They also wanted to raise some food this year for the hungry in our region and that's where we come in.
Bring in two cans of food to the Legacy today through Thursday, December 17 - 20 and they are offering two for one dining in Cafe Sedona and Flavors! Buffet. What a great deal and a fun way to give. Head down to the Legacy to see what else is up for grabs. (Remember your non-perishable food donations when you go.)

Many people do heartwarming fundraisers for us this time of year. This is one of our favorites. These teens have grown up supporting the food bank. For years, with the support of their families (and now even Starbucks), they do a great coffee stand with 100% of the proceeds going to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
Here’s a note that Cyrus sent out to his yearly supporters about this year’s event that will be held this Saturday, December 15th from 9 a.m. – noon at 12755 Valley Springs Road in Reno. Hope to see you there.
Dear Friends,
It’s that time of the year again when Kienan and I do our Food Stand which supports the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. It will be held on Saturday the 15th, from 9am to noon, so plenty of time to have fun before the world ends. J
As always only donations are excepted, which means that you could come and take a bunch of treats and leave $1 or take one and leave $20. We will be providing many yummy treats and coffee and tea (coffee complementary from Starbucks).
Even if you can't make it please tell your friends and family to come. Again we take $0 for ourselves and 100% of the donations go to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada to help out the community.
Hope to see you there.
Sincerely,
Cyrus Moassessi
