Food Assistance

The Food Bank of Northern Nevada distributes food to local food pantries so that individuals can receive a bag of groceries and other emergency food assistance close to their own neighborhoods. The food pantries are open to help on different days of the week and at various times during those days. We are also in a variety of rural settings: Carson/Dayto/ Gardnerville, Pershing/Elko, Churchill/Fallon, Tahoe/Truckee/Mono County. Here is the Washoe Co. schedule in Spanish. Let us help you get connected with valuable Food Stamp (SNAP) benefits. SNAP Benefits help families make ends meet. Our outreach team can help with the paperwork and the process. Read more

Kids Cafe

Kids Cafe is a program that feeds children ages 1 to 18 free dinner Monday through Friday. The only requirement is to be a child.

Help for Seniors and Families

The Food Bank distributes Monthly Commodity Boxes of food to seniors and young families.
