Give Food

The Food Bank of Northern Nevada accepts food donations through several avenues of giving.

  • Corporate donations that have links to farmers, manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers
  • Ongoing food drives throughout the community staged by corporate partners
  • Community wide food drives slated for specific periods of time
  • And by independent small businesses, associations, church groups, community groups

Our grocery partners give fresh, canned boxed and frozen product generously and continuously. We distribute these items from the Food Bank warehouse to our partner agencies through our 90,000 square mile service area. The generous donations that we receive from these sources are critical to the families and individuals who  are struggling to keep food on their shelves.

Grow A Row

This year, the Food Bank of Northern Nevada is asking groups or individuals who plant gardens to consider the hungry when making their plans. It's as simple as “Plant a Row” for the hungry or donate excess produce.  The Food Bank has reached out to their partner agencies, to set times and locations for produce drop off.  The agencies will then distribute the food directly to those who need it.   Please see the list of agencies here for places and times give when you have harvested your food.
