Our Mission is to end hunger in our region through direct services, advocacy, outreach and education.
Hunger is a big problem, and we need everyone’s help to solve this issue. An estimated 49 million Americans are at risk of hunger in this country according to the USDA, and almost 14 million children in the U.S. under 18 that are food insecure. One in three children in our service area are food insecure and 75 percent of the people served through Food Bank partner agencies are either under the age of 18 or over the age of 65. They are the most vulnerable members of our community. We are working to Make Hunger History.
